Rosa Louise McCauley Parks,
Passion as fierce as sharks.
She was reaching for equal rights,
Started a movement with her might.
She climbed aboard a bus,
Up ahead in the front.
Where she shouldn’t have been,
Having colored skin.
She was told to go behind,
But she had a strong mind.
A boycott of buses began,
And that was the plan.
People began to understand,
And now segregation is banned.
